Hannig & Kreuzboden

VIEWS from mountains to other mountains are always impressive. So when we were in Saas-Fee we also went to Hannig by cable car. Enjoying morning coffee from the terrace of the restaurant at 2350 meters above sea level was a delight. We were, as often, blessed by fantastic sunny and clear weather, so Allalinhorn, Täschhorn and Dom (the highest mountain in Switzerland, 4545 m, if only considering mountains completely located in Switzerland 🙂) were all shining with their white peaks.

On our way home, we stopped in Saas-Grund to take another cable car J to Kreuzboden, 2400 m, for lunch at the huge restaurant of the same name. After lunch we walked to a small, very small, lake and later took a nap at the sun chairs available there. Again, the view was spectacular.
